Ram Charan Tej-Tamannah starrer ‘Rachcha’ was launched today at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. To be directed by Sampath Nandi and jointly produced by Paras Jain and N V Prasad, the film will be presented by R B Chowdary under Mega Supergood Films banner.
Chiranjeevi, D Suresh Babu, R B Chowdary, Ram Charan Tej, Sampath Nandi, N V Prasad, Anand Sai, Parachuri Venkateswara Rao, etc., attended the launching event.
The muhurat shot was tapped by Chiranjeevi and the camera was switched on by D Suresh Babu.
Later speaking to the media Parachuri Venkateswara Rao said, “I’m very happy that the movie has been launched by Chiranjeevi. This is the first time we are working for Ram Charan Tej’s film. After R B Chowdary okayed the script, we approached Chiranjeevi, and he too gave his nod to proceed with it. Ram Charan’s ‘Magadheera’ was a blockbuster film. So we have put in lot of efforts to write the script on par with that film. Sampath Nandi’s 1st film was a decent hit. He is a talented director who can act and show. The movie is going to be made with experienced technicians, hence we will try our best to design this movie into a good product.”
Producer N V Prasad said, “We wanted to gift Chiranjeevi garu a good film from our banner. This movie will entertain people from all walks of life. We are confident of producing a good film and making it a big hit.”
Director Sampath Nandi said, “I’m very happy to get this opportunity after my first film ‘Emaindi Ee Vela’. I thank Chiranjeevi garu, who is like a Lord to me, for giving this opportunity trusting my script. I will definitely utilize this opportunity in an appropriate manner. This movie will certainly reach the expectations of mega fans.”
R B Chowdary said, “We consider our banner to be lucky since we are going to do two films with Ram Charan. ‘Merupu’ which started long ago was temporarily halted due to some technical reasons. It had already completed one shooting schedule. Now we have planned to restart that film after the completion of ‘Rachcha’.”
“This year happens to be the luckiest year for me because I’m doing all good films. I’m just not able to believe this luck. Sampath Nandi is a talented director. I was very excited about the project when he narrated the story. It’s my pleasure to work with Ram Charan. I thank and producer and director for giving this great opportunity”, said Tamannah.
Ram Charan while speaking, “This script is the 3 years efforts of Supergood Films. I’m working with Parachuri Brothers for the first time. I’m very excited about the subject. My characterization is also pretty interesting. The movie shooting is planned for a very short period. I’m happy to work with one such banner that introduced many new technicians to the industry. Tamannah has already proved her mettle by acting in many super hit films. I wish that this movie will also earn a good name for both of us. It is not yet decided whether or not to remix dad’s song ‘Vana Vana’ in this film. Although there are plans to remake few of dad’s films, still it is better not to remake them because whatever the film, we should be able to convince the audience in the right manner. I’m confident that ‘Rachcha’ will become a good movie for all of us.”
